GEER Foundation has established a
Bird Information Research &
Documentation (BIRD) Centre for spreading awareness to conserve
the avian diversity. Under this centre, the Foundation has taken
up various programmes such as census of Sarus, survey of Gyps
Vultures in Gujarat, Heronry survey etc. and has also
taken up bird watching training programme for amateur bird
watchers. |
